Award winning danish jazz band releases new album! Bangin´ Bülows Nice Jazz Quartet is one of the most exiting jazz artists in Denmark right now. In 2014 they won a Danish Music Award for ‘Best upcoming band of the year’. Their second album ‘You’re Beautiful, I’m Beautiful Let’s Have a Beautiful Night’ have been played frequently on the Danish Jazz Radio P8 and received an award for one of the best albums in 2016! May 18, 2018 they release their third album called ‘Let’s Get Weird’. The album is recorded in New York with the world class jazz musician Gilad Hekselman as artistic producer. In the September 2016 Bangin’ Bülows travelled to New York city to record their 3rd studio album, under the wings of Gilad Hekselman.

But for over four years now, Minnesota-born trumpeter, flugelhornist and composer John Raymond has done just that. His bass-less trio Real Feels, which includes guitarist Gilad Hekselman and drummer Colin Stranahan, evokes a sense of home, companionship and comfort that his Midwest roots might suggest. However, bringing together three musicians from three distinct musical backgrounds make the group a model of what defines American music - a melting pot of influences tied together by a close bond of warm-hearted kinship. Their newest album "Joy Ride" accomplishes this in its fullest sense.

Born on November 13, 1973 in Philadelphia, Ari Hoenig, was exposed at an early age to a variety of musical experiences. His father is a conductor and classical singer, his mother a violinist and pianist. Accordingly, at 4 years of age, Ari began studying the violin and piano. He began playing drums at age twelve, and by age fourteen he was honing his skills with other young jazz musicians at Philly clubs such as Ortlieb’s JazzHaus.

Assaf began his career in music at the unlikely age of thirteen. When the small-town Heavy Metal band he led was signed to a label and released an album. In the twenty years since, he has studied classical composition and Jazz performance, with full scholarship, at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, and has gone on to work with some of Israel’s leading performers and producers. Assal participated in countless concerts and productions, awarding him considerable acclaim among his peers and among Jazz enthusiasts alike, both in his home country of Israel and abroad.

Available everywhere now is ReWORKS – Vol. 1 lead offering, Juice WRLD’s breakthrough hit “Lucid Dreams,” as arranged by guitarist Gilad Hekselman. “Lucid Dreams” is the first track from ReWORKS – Vol. 1, which is set for release Friday, July 12 and will feature songs originally performed by Cardi B, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, SZA and more.

Anat Cohen's music is literally all over the map. Across her previous six albums, Cohen has explored the sounds of America, Brazil, France, Cuba, South Africa, and her homeland, Israel; she's addressed the work of John Coltrane, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Benny Goodman, Abdullah Ibrahim, Sam Cooke, Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Louis Armstrong, Ernesto Lecuona, Luiz Bonfa, and numerous others; and she's delivered original material that speaks to her ceaseless globetrotting. Here, she continues to explore a wide range of music, but there's a bit more focus on a single locale.
