Girl Talk

Poster Girl is the third studio album by Swedish singer Zara Larsson and her second released internationally. It was released on 5 March 2021 through TEN Music Group and Epic Records.

I have mentioned Holly Cole as one of my favourite female jazz singers, who is quite underrated in my opinion. Here is one of her projects, Temptation, a tribute album to Tom Waits, which I would like to share both with avaxhome jazz cats and Tom Waits loyals.

The Collection is a greatest hits album of the British band Talk Talk, released in 2000. The album has been re-released various times. First released as "Talk Talk - The Collection" in 2000, further versions of the album with the same track list include The Collection (2003), It's My Life: The Collection (2001) and The Ultra Selection (2001).

LIP TALK is the project and alternate identity of frontwoman Sarah K. Pedinotti, and D A Y S is her debut album. I imagined characters in the songs like scenes in a movie, emotion expressed like colors on a canvas, Pedinotti says of D A Y S. Throughout, Pedinottis production mixes singsong simplicity with densely ambitious art rock, charming and challenging her audience in equal measure. Pedinotti first started singing as a pre-teen, performing at her parents family restaurant and jazz club in Saratoga Springs, New York. The restaurant became a hotspot for music in the area, and as a girl Pedinotti got to perform with Jazz legends as they passed through town. The past couple years have found Pedinotti performing with such artists as psych-noise group Cosmicide, rock band Okkervil River, experimental-pop band Kalbells, and R&B songwriter Cautious Clay; on D A Y S, you can hear her drawing from all those influences and more to craft something distinctly her own.
