An adventurous, stunning piece of work, "In A Forest Without Trees" is an intricate mixture of progressive rock and atmospherics doused with an emotional to and fro that pulls and releases in all the right places. Balancing lush, minor landscapes of sound with big swathes of noisy, fire-peaked crescendos, Goonies make the quieter bits sound every bit as compulsive as the explosive highlights.

Cyndi Lauper was one of the biggest stars of the early MTV era, selling five million copies of her debut album, She's So Unusual, as well as scoring a string of four Top Ten hits from the record, including the major hits "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and "Time After Time." Lauper's thin, girlish voice and gleefully ragtag appearance became one of the most distinctive images of the early '80s, which helped lead her not only to the top of the charts, but also to stardom.

The 1986 critically-acclaimed set EMERALD CITY (a US Top 20 R&B best-seller), had a distinctly different flavour from its predecessor: considered more of a concept album from a lyrical standpoint, the eight-track set showcased Teena’s expressive creativity as a songwriter with original compositions like “Lips To Find You,” “Shangri La,” “Love Me Down Easy” and “Sunny Skies.

SkeleToon have announced the release of their third new ‘They Never Say Die’, a tribute to Eighties classic flick ‘The Goonies’ by Richard Donner/Steven Spielberg. With eleven guests taking over the main roles, ‘They Never Say Die’ is the third of five chapters in the band’s “Nerd Saga”, a fictional journey that goes way beyond a natural love for the “geek” world of cult movies, videogames and comics, to describe the world seen through the eyes of those forcibly removed from the masses because of their passions.
