In The End His Voice Will Be The Sound Of Paper is a 2016 collaborative album between The Trondheim Jazz Orchestra with Kim Myhr and Jenny Hval. This was released in Norway by Hubro.

When guitarist, improviser and composer Kim Myhr had an opportunity to collaborate with the never-stagnant Trondheim Jazz Orchestra for the second time, he invited Jenny Hval to join him. He had known her for several years and had wanted for a long time to work together with her.

Mythical animals were a big inspiration, says composer and songwriter Jenny Hval about Meshes Of Voice, a new collaboration between her and Susanna. We looked at Medusa, Athena and Harpy (a combination of woman and bird) as examples of depictions of woman the ugly, the goddess-like, the gruesome, agrees Susanna. This collaboration featuring the two strongest Nordic voices around today started back in 2009 as an exchange of letters, then developed into two live performances, one at Oslo Jazz Festival, the other at the Henie Onstad Art Centre, where this album was recorded.

Norwegian duo Lost Girls, artist and writer Jenny Hval and multi-instrumentalist Håvard Volden, release their first album after collaborating for more than ten years. Volden has been playing regularly in Hval's live band for more than a decade, and their duo project goes back to an acoustic collaborative album from 2012, using the moniker Nude on Sand.

After collaborating together for more than a decade, Jenny Hval and Håvard Volden released their first album under the Lost Girls moniker in 2021: Menneskekollektivet. The record received rave reviews, including a Best New Music mark at Pitchfork. Now the duo release their second album Selvutsletter.
