Mercury - Acts 1 & 2, the 2-CD deluxe album coming July 1st 2022. Act 1 is out now including the hit songs "Follow You," "Wrecked" and "Enemy" ft. JID. Act 2 features 17 additional songs including the new single "Bones". This upcoming double album is a follow-up to Imagine Dragons’ fifth album Mercury — Act 1 (2021), which was described as “a celebration of life and humanity,” by the band. The upcoming collection, which is releasing via labels Kidinakorner and Interscope Records, is based on singer Dan Reynolds’ “constant obsession with the finality and fragility of life.”
The lead single “Bones,” which draws inspiration from Michael Jackson’s iconic 1983 song “Thriller,” premiered in April to promote the album’s upcoming release. While explaining the idea behind the single, Reynold’s said in a statement, “I’ve always loved that ‘Thriller’ was both scary and playful. I didn’t know as a kid if I wanted to watch it again or not for fear of the ensuing nightmares, but I always came back for more with my eyes half-closed. The idea of punishing Wall Street with a zombie infection felt like an enjoyable time. And it was.”

In celebration of the Imagine Dragons landmark debut album’s 10th anniversary, expanded editions of Night Visions will be released in 2LP, 2CD, super deluxe (4CD + DVD). The 2LP and 2CD bonus material includes an additional nine studio tracks and two never-before-heard demos, while the Super Deluxe edition also features the previously released Night Visions Live CD and DVD contents, a full disc of collected Night Visions remixes, and two more studio tracks, all in one definitive set.

Delivered swiftly after Evolve it follows that 2017 set by a mere 17 months, practically a blip in the context of modern pop Origins adheres to its predecessor's kaleidoscopic digital aesthetic. Nominally a rock band and they're more than comfortable pulsing to a big, banging beat Imagine Dragons are deliberately amorphous, a blob rolling along sucking up anything in its path. Often, they're content patrolling their own backyard, relying on an EDM-inflected arena rock that consciously recalls Coldplay at both their sweetest and most urgent. The difference with Origins is, this blob sucks up a bunch of different sounds.

Smoke + Mirrors is the second studio album by American rock band Imagine Dragons. The album was recorded during 2014 at the band's home studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Self-produced by members of the band along with English hip-hop producer Alexander Grant, known by his moniker Alex da Kid, the album was released by Interscope Records and Grant's KIDinaKORNER label on February 17, 2015, in the United States.

In 2014, the Imagine Dragons emerged from nothing and immediately struck the nerve of the Zeitgeist. Four years later the Grammy winners are now in the starting holes with their third album Evolve.

The third full-length release for the Las Vegas rock band features production from Alex da Kid, Jayson DeZuzio, John Hill, Joel Little, and Mattman & Robin. "Evolve" involves mostly devolving back into the hoariest of tired rock cliches, and plodding grimly towards the summer's festivals. This latest effort might represent a small progression, but it's still far from an evolution.
