The North Sea Jazz Festival is an annual jazz festival held each second weekend of July in the Netherlands at the Ahoy venue. It used to be in The Hague but since 2006 it has been held in Rotterdam. One of the best jazz collections ever recorded. All the live concerts and tours produced by Norman Granz under the name "Jazz At The Philharmonic" (from the Philharmonic Auditorium where the first concert was held in 1944), during the golden period of 1944-1949. An incredible number of top jazz musicians participated in these recordings. The particular recordings included in this CD Box are all on the legendary label Verve, founded by Norman Granz. You will find a nice booklet with all the details of the CDs' contents. Enjoy a jazz masterpiece, ripped in lossless.

Some of the musicians who are part of this new Jazzing were not even born when the project, with more than 60 musicians between the ages of 6 and 21 years old, was started. None of the musicians who were part of the first recording, Jazzing 1 of 2009, is part of the current Sant Andreu Jazz Band (although in this new work, representation of the year 2020, we can find two musicians who were present that year: the Motis sisters, who in this case appear as special guests).
