Wild Rose has been rockin’ for over a decade. The original idea was sprung in 2004 by Andy Rock. A lot of soul-searching was required initially, as it was essential to find a suitable line up to harness the stylish and polished mellow sound of a quality A.O.R. band. Finally, after two years and several line up changes Wild Rose settled on the line up today, introduced to an unsuspecting public back in 2006, with quality songs composed by Andy Rock…

"Come On Over" is the 8th studio album by Olivia Newton-John, released on 29 February 1976. It peaked at #2 on the US Country albums chart, and #13 on the Billboard 200. The album's first track, a cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene", was only released as a single in Japan, and it became a hit there, peaking at #11 on the Oricon Singles Chart. The album itself was also a success in the Japanese market, reaching the #2 position on the Oricon Albums Chart. In the US, the only single released from the album was the title song, written by Barry Gibb and Robin Gibb and originally featured on the Bee Gees' 1975 album "Main Course". It was a moderate pop hit, peaking at #23 on the US Billboard Hot 100, but did much better on the Country (#5) and Adult Contemporary (7th of 10 #1 singles) charts. In New Zealand, the title track reached #3. The album was certified Gold.

Paul Rose is without doubt one of the most unique and talented guitarists in the world today. Fundamentally a rock guitarist, his extraordinary playing style touches on blues, country, jazz and folk, blended together into a style that is entirely his own. He was born in Newcastle and started playing at an early age. His natural gift shone through by the age of 16 with him playing regularly on the Newcastle live scene with some of the most popular local bands of the day. Hank Marvin was the first guitarist he saw play live in 1978.
