After reaching mass acclaim with her first album, Controlled Chaos, she returns with her 2nd full-length on Sumerian Records, The Call Of The Void. Featuring the highly popular "Dead Inside," and "The Wolf You Feed," the album is a combination of melodic sounds and hard-hitting riffs that Strauss has become known for, proving time and time again that she has solidified her presence as one of rock's greatest.

The Cafe’ Del Mar series has proven a class of its own over the years. Every sunset, people gather at Café Del Mar to be hypnotised by a unique sunset dj mix, staring dreamily out to sea. Cafe Del Mar volume 29 ,once again encapsulates this mystical experience, beginning light and airy with Eric Hilton, “Corazon”. Progressing to darker, bassier sounds like Chris Coco and Kiko Navarro to represent the sun falling behind the horizon. It creates a spellbinding atmosphere by placing oddities such as the mystery of the Bulgarian voices, Lisa Gerrard, Finland & Aaskoven, alongside dance tracks that take inspiration from world music and new age (ethereal female vocals; bongo-lead percussion; samples of self-hypnosis tapes, flutes; wave-sounds). Highlights include the resonant piano and strings of Boddhi Satva" Fading to Silence” and Gabriel Brasil “Midnight Meeting”. The sky fades to black with the gentle ambience of Café Del Mar Volume 29.

Paradigm Trigger is the latest single from Ohio based metalcore band Like Moths To Flames and the first taste of their unannounced new album 'The Cycles Of Trying To Cope' (out May 10) . The new single will be accompanied by a new music video showcasing the new artistic direction and era of the band. This release will mark the first new music since a pair of standalone singles "Predestination Paradox" & "I Found The Dark Side of Heaven" from 2023 and the first new album since 2020's critically acclaimed 'No Eternity In Gold'. "Paradigm Trigger" is about being stuck in a levitate state of sleep paralysis. Inducing a lot of feelings of anxiety, it's meant to represent the feeling of being stuck. The album title “As Many, as One” isn’t present as a track title, but reveals itself across the album under broader concepts. I think it’s important to shed light on a few of these themes as they become clear with each track…

In many ways, the music of Writhing Squares could have only originated in Philadelphia; the city itself is a microcosm of creatives, go-getters, freaks & weirdos that have coalesced into a supportive & boundary-pushing crew. Former Purling Hiss bassist Daniel Provenzano & Ecstatic Vision sax-player & vocalist Kevin Nickles’ first musical missive as Writhing Squares was shot forth from this community in 2013 (the self-released CDR “Live In Space”) & various singles, split releases, albums (and a double-album) later we arrive at the duo’s fourth full-length “Mythology”, their third for Chicago-based Trouble In Mind Records.

A rebirth following 2021's acclaimed 'Liminal Space', this new album has a raw, stripped simplicity harking back to the seminal albums of 70's Jazz. Ill Considered collaborate again with acclaimed visual artist Vincent De Boer to create the artwork for the album.
