Can experiments become instruments? Alium began with a search for the perfect grand piano to sample. After a session at Nottingham’s Albert Hall, I captured test recordings of the Steinway - plucking, pen-tapping, and striking strings. While not suited for a full-scale sampling project, these samples were too unique to gather digital dust.

SMOOTH GUITARS VOL 2 is instrument based on electric guitar sound source. It is both, Kontakt instrument and sample pack containing retro funk guitar loops and licks.

Welcome to Soundiron’s Electric Saz library! Electric Saz is a truly deep-sampled 5-string electric saz baglâma library for Kontakt with a huge range of extended content, an innovative new custom interface and cutting-edge powerful performance features. This beautiful fretless Saz was procured directly from the streets of Turkey, where master craftsman have been building them by hand for centuries. We painstakingly sampled all three “runs” of strings (low octave, middle single and high unison) with a massive 12x round robin and up to 6 velocity layers for open notes on an octave and a half per string.
