The Vocokesh arrived on the scene in 1989/90 when Wisconsin/US situated Richard Franecki (guitar, bass, electronics) decided to leave his main project F/i along with Jan Schober (drums) and Steve Zimmerman (electronics). This obviously evolved in a friendly manner and both related bands decided to produce 'Merge Parlour' as a split album in 1992. Vocokesh's debut though was 'Ispepnaibara' in 1990 additionally featuring Lars Kwam on saxophone. Similiar to F/i, but more guitar and less electronics dominated, the band covers a variety of styles. A reissue of a rarity record; "Sister, Brother, Lover…." was the only album from Scottish band, Northwind, in 1971. In a Beatles type of story, Northwind started on the club scene before venturing to Germany, picking up some psychedelia and krautrock in Frankfurt. They recorded an album and went around supporting the big guns; Free, Hawkwind, Fleetwood Mac. However, without much support from the management and the label, they soon disbanded. This is an album of powerful rock which edges toward early prog and kraut whilst remaining it’s own, unique thing.

Clara Mondshine is the artistic name of Walter Bachauer. Legendary German project signed on Klaus Schulze's Innovative Communication. A great mixture between spaced out synthesized atmospheres, dark exoticism and avant garde.
