Leave One Day

In Istanbul, a jazz trumpeter pulls the murdered body of a young woman from the surf. He remembers her from the night before, when he saw her at a millionaire playboy's party and then later watched as she was assaulted by the party's host and two of his friends. In confusion, Jimmy, the musician, leaves for Rio where he finds the sympathetic ear of Rita, a singer who invites him to live with her and helps him recover his equilibrium and his musical ability. Then, into the room walks a woman who looks like Wanda, the murder victim. Jimmy pursues her, not caring if she's alive or dead. What's going on?

Shortly after WWII, flashbacks tell the story of Marise, her husband Paul, and Jean, who was imprisoned with Paul in a German camp. While attempting to escape from the camp Paul is shot, and Jean goes to see Marise, confirming the news she had gotten already about Paul's death. Jean has fallen in love with Marise through the stories Paul told him, and wants to stay with her in the seaside town in Brittany where Paul owned a small business.

Ou Yang Guan Nan (Michelle Wai) and Shi Tu Jie (Ken Hung) are born on the same day, have same interest on photography and characters. Both get to know each other from the school debate competition and they also like each other. Class monitor Lu Jun Wen (Carlos Chan) who accompanies Nan most of the time also has interest with Nan but fails to woo her.

After class they would visit a hill behind their school to take photo at midnight and take the rainbow’s photo after rain. After finish high school Jie used half of his savings to buy a polaroid camera and give it to Nan as gift. Nan is mistaken with his intention, thinking that he wanted to tease her and later slaps his face. One day when Nan realizes Jie has been chasing her all this time it was already too late.

Four years later Jie opens a photography shop. On the same year their former school holds a reunion gathering with Nan and Jie meeting once again. Nan wants to get serious with Jie this time but sadly Jie decides to leave her after a short term relationship. Does Jie decided to leave Nan for good? Will Nan accept Wen’s love? Who will Nan choose in the end?

Humphrey Bogart stars in this melodrama-spiced adventure tale about an American flyer in civil-war torn 1947 China, hiding out from a ruthless warlord (Lee J. Cobb) by assuming the identity of a slain priest in a remote mission settlement. There, he loses his heart to his needy flock of villagers and to the lovely mission nurse (Gene Tierney), a devout Catholic tormented by her taboo attraction to this putative man of the cloth.

Arthur Hamilton (John Randolph) is a listless Manhattan businessman who lives with his wife in the New York suburbs. One day, he runs into an old friend (Murray Hamilton) whom he thought had died. The friend leads him to The Company, a secretive operation run by The Old Man (Will Geer). The Company is a high-tech service which, for a price, provides older men with plastic surgery, a beefed-up body, and a fresh start in life. To cover the "disappearance," a middle-aged male cadaver is "killed" in a hotel fire. Hamilton submits to the operation that will turn him into a "Second," and when the bandages are removed, he's shed twenty years, renamed Tony Wilson and portrayed by Rock Hudson……

Ten-year old Gulistan and her younger brother Firat live happily with their parents in Diyarbakir, the heart of Turkish Kurdistan. Tragedy strikes when their mother and father are shot down by paramilitary gunmen before their eyes. Traumatised and orphaned, Gulistan, Firat and their infant sister are placed in the care of their young, politically-active aunt Yekbun who soon disappears without a trace. As days turn into weeks, the money that their aunt left them runs out. Eventually, the children have to fend for themselves on the streets, where one day, Gulistan is shocked to come across the murderer of her parents.
