Leila Xelplus

With the four missing concertos, Leila Schayegh completes her series of recordings of all violin concertos by Jean-Marie Leclair with the third CD. Leclair grew up in Lyon and was trained as a dancer and violinist, later concentrating entirely on playing the violin.

Leila NEGRAU chanteuse et percussionniste originaire de l’Ile de la Réunion. Inspirée par les musiques traditionnelles : le Maloya et le Séga, auteur compositeur, elle réinvente le genre et crée son propre style, son écriture. Son image est liée à son univers de chanteuse, dynamique, populaire, délivrant un message simple de femme épanouie, un moment festif, dansant, entrainant, convivial. C’est pour cela qu’elle parcourt le monde depuis tant d’année à la rencontre de son public.
