With a cast including Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Carrie Hope Fletcher and Matt Lucas, Les Misérables temporarily transferred to the Gielgud Theatre for the awe-inspiring All-Star Staged Concert. Boublil & Schönberg’s musical crusade arrived at the Gielgud for a limited sixteen-week run while its London home, The Queen’s Theatre, underwent essential maintenance. The Gielgud Theatre production thus ran from 10 August – 30 November 2019, but lives on in this incredible live recording.This brilliant new staging has taken the world by storm and has been hailed “Les Mis for the 21st Century”. The magnificent score of Les Misérables includes the songs; “I Dreamed a Dream”, “On My Own”, “Bring Him Home”, “One Day More”, “Master Of The House” and many more. Seen by over 120 million people worldwide in 52 countries and in 22 languages, Les Misérables is undisputedly one of the world’s most popular musicals.

Set against a backdrop of post-Napoleonic France as unrest beings to grip the city of Paris once more. This 6 episode, tv mini series is a drama, with a score, not a musical.

My Cousin Rachel is adapted from Daphne Du Maurier's gothic romance novel of the same name, about a young Englishman called Philip who inherits his guardian's Cornish estate. Philip soon finds himself falling for his beguiling cousin Rachel, but his feelings are complicated when evidence suggests that she murdered Philip's guardian and is only showing an interest in Philip to steal his inheritance. Following this, the story follow Philip’s revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms. This is not the first time Du Maurier's 1951 novel has been adapted for the big screen. It was made into a film only a year after publication, starring Olivia de Havilland and Richard Burton, and was nominated for four Oscars.

Serenity is an upcoming American neo-noir thriller written and directed by Steven Knight (Taboo, Peaky Blinders). Starring Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club), Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables), and Diane Lane (Unfaithful), Serenity follows a fishing boat captain who is forced to confront his mysterious past after a gorgeous woman careens into his simple life. The experience rocks his existence on his small home island in the Caribbean and leaves him questioning what is and is not real. Aviron Pictures is releasing Serenity on January 25th, 2019.

Damon Albarn’s music collective Electric Wave Bureau has composed the music for the upcoming fantasy adventure The Kid Who Would Be King. The film is written and directed by Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) and stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis, Dean Chaumoo, Tom Taylor, Rhianna Dorris, Angus Imrie, Rebecca Ferguson and Patrick Stewart. The movie follows a twelve-year-old British schoolboy whose everyday problems are dwarfed by his discovery of the mythical sword Excalibur. Nira Park (Baby Driver, Hot Fuzz), Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, Les Miserables, Darkest Hour) are producing the Working Title and Big Talk Pictures production. Electric Wave Bureau has previously been credited for scoring the 2012 drama Broken starring Tim Roth & Cillian Murphy and also produced songs for Luc Besson’s Lucy and both Paddington movies. The Kid Who Would Be King will be released in theaters nationwide on January 25, 2019 by 20th Century Fox.
