Lola (1981)

El matrimonio de Javier y Patrizia funciona muy bien, sobre todo si cuando hacen el amor está presente Lola, que aparece en el videocassette en poses y gestos muy eróticos y provocativos. Se descubre, al fin, que el marido es el amante de Lola y que si se casó con Patrizia fue solamente por cazar su fortuna. También se descubre que Lola no es Lola. Se llama Pedro y es un bisexual que domina la voluntad de Javier, hasta llevarle, por ambición, al desastre, mientras Patrizia con una amiga, muy querida, se marcha a descansar a Ibiza.

Regina is a woman from a poor family and married with and former secretary of the wealthy Hélio. Regina has a block with Hélio and can not have sex with him, in spite of fantasizing kinky sex with every man she meets. She goes to a shrink and while resolving her childhood trauma, Hélio has an affair with his secretary Lúcia and leaves Regina. Later, they meet each other by chance, and the healed Regina finally satisfies Hélio.

The Kinks were one of the most influential bands of the British Invasion. Early singles "You Really Got Me" and "All Day and All of the Night" were brutal, three-chord ravers that paved the way for punk and metal while inspiring peers like the Who. In the mid-'60s, frontman Ray Davies came into his own as a songwriter, developing a wry wit and an eye for social commentary that culminated in a pair of conceptual LPs, The Village Green Preservation Society and Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire), that proved enormously influential over the years.

This good value set comprises Gainsbourg's 3 reggae albums (2 studio & 1 live - originally released between 1979 & 1981) housed in a smart 10 inch hardback book with some great photos. This collection uses the 2003 'remixed' versions of the albums - when the bass and drums were carefully cranked up for a heavier reggae sound, with Gainsbourg's complete vocal parts left in.
