Man Overboard (not to be confused with the American pop punk band of the same name) formed in January 2011. It's the brainchild of guitarist Jean Marie Fagon, who moved from Paris to the UK in 1980. With 7 releases now under their belt, it was probably inevitable that this bands name became a lot more familiar to a lot more people. Sure, this is Neo prog but the band have done a pretty admirable job with this release by trying to deliver a slightly more instrumental sound and yet doing so in a way that does not get lost in its own shadow.
With 9 original sounding songs ranging from 3.32 minutes to 7.20 minutes, Fruitcake have elected to not get caught up with too many long epics that can often mar a bands output.
