Metal Ballads

Mega Rock Ballads is a 2CD compilation released in 2016 y Sony Music of Taiwan. It's oddly titled considering many of the songs are not ballads (i.e. Electric Light Orchestra's "Don't Bring Me Down") while a few are not exactly rock (i.e. Sly & The Family Stone's "I Want To Take You Higher"). One thing is for certain: all 36 songs on this are mega!

Poison is an American glam metal band that achieved great success in the mid-1980s to mid-1990s. Poison has sold over 30 million records worldwide and have sold 15 million records in the United States alone. The band has also charted ten singles to the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, including six Top 10 singles and the Hot 100 number-one single, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn". In the 2000s, with the original line up back together, the band found new popularity after a successful greatest hits reunion tour in 1999.

Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads is the Scorpions 5th compilation album, released in 1989. The record features several rare or completely unreleased tracks: "Hey You", from the group's Animal Magnetism sessions; the re-recorded "long version" of "Is There Anybody There?"; and a cover ofThe Who's "I Can't Explain", which was also included on that same year's Stairway to Heaven/Highway to Hell charity compilation album. Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads reached platinum status in the USA.
