The United States vs. Billie Holiday, in which Andra makes her feature-acting debut staring as Billie Holiday, sheds light on the innovative vocalist's embattled years as a target of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics - the unit sought to imprison Holiday on drug charges, a retaliatory action given her dedication to singing highly politicized songs like "Strange Fruit" and her efforts to integrate her audiences. In the film, directed by Lee Daniels and written by Suzan-Lori Parks, Andra stars alongside Moonlight lead, Trevante Rhodes. Andra's iteration of the jazz-infused recording adheres to the cool, sultry stylings of Holiday's original. Cinderella is a 2021 romantic musical film based on the fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault. Passionate about film and film music, I decided to integrate the music class of the National Conservatory of Music in Lyon to train me. During this course, I honed my feeling about image, developed a personal musical language and worked with different animation schools like « ESIA 3D » or « La Poudrière ».

Jerry Goldsmith’s iconic original score to Paramount Pictures’ 1979 feature film STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE boldly returns with a limited edition 2-CD re-issue from La-La Land Records and Paramount Music. The first big screen voyage of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock was a high budget and ambitious undertaking that introduced Goldsmith’s famous and enduring Star Trek march (later used as the main theme for Star Trek: The Next Generation) as the cornerstone of an epic science fiction musical odyssey. Like the film’s refit starship Enterprise, La-La Land’s lavish 2012 restoration presented the score anew: fully restored, remixed and mastered from the first generation multi-track masters by Bruce Botnick, the original album co-producer and Goldsmith’s long time scoring engineer.
