This is the 1985 recording featuring the inaugural pairing of two phenomenal jazz guitarists, Ed Bickert and Lorne Lofsky, performing together in a quartet setting with Neil Swainson (bass) and Jerry Fuller (drums). Originally released on vinyl (Unisson DDA-1002), this long out-of-print session has now been re-mastered for digital release in 2022 by Cornerstone Records Inc.

Jazz / Hard Bop

An extension of the popular Original Jazz Classics series (est. 1982), the new OJC Remasters releases reveal the sonic benefits of 24-bit remastering-a technology that didn't exist when these titles were originally issued on compact disc. The addition of newly-written liner notes further enhances the illuminating quality of the OJC Remasters reissues. "Each of the recordings in this series is an all-time jazz classic," says Nick Phillips, Vice President of Jazz and Catalog A&R at Concord Music Group and producer of the series.

Rolling Stone Magazine released a list of "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in November 2004. It represents an eclectic mix of music spanning the past 50 years, and contains a wide variety of artists sharing the spotlight. The Rolling Stone 500 was compiled by 172 voters comprised of rock artists and well-known rock music experts, who submitted ranked lists of their favorite 50 Rock & Roll/Pop music songs. The songs were then tallied to create the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The Magazine is included.
