4AD are thrilled to announce the reissue of Gene Clark's 1974 masterpiece No Other - one of the American singer-songwriter and Byrds founding member’s finest works - coming out on November 8th 2019.
Columbia Records released the Bruce Springsteen Live Collection “Songs from the Road” in November 2018. In January 2019 and March 2019, two more live collections were submitted with “Songs of Friendship” and “Songs of Hope”. On November 14, 2019 - “The Live Series: Songs from Around the World”, the fourth sampler was released, which comprises a total of 15 songs.
Chris Rea’s eighties and early nineties gear has been expanded and remastered for release this October. The albums – Shamrock Diaries (1985), On the Beach (1986), Dancing With Strangers (1987), The Road to Hell (1989) and Auberge (1991) span Rea’s commercial peak and are to be reissued as deluxe double CD sets. They will also be accessorised with period appropriate ‘additional recordings’ such as remixes, non-album and live tracks, all newly remastered.
Joe Pesci appears in the new Martin Scorsese film The Irishman, which comes to Netflix on November 27. More importantly, Joe Pesci has announced a new album called Pesci…Still Singing. The album arrives two days after the film’s release (on November 29), and it features Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. At the midpoint of the album, Pesci and Levine cover “My Cherie Amour.” Still Singing arrives 21 years after his previous album, 1998’s Vincent Laguardia Gambini Sings Just For You. It’s been 51 years since he released his debut album, 1968’s perfectly titled Little Joe Sure Can Sing!.
