Paul Roland (born 1959 in Kent, England), ‘England’s psych-pop guru’, must surely qualify as unique amongst cult independent recording artists. Not only is his quintessentially English music alive with 19th century literary references and characters that would not be out of place in the pages of writers as Edgar Allan Poe, Peake, Charles Dickens, H.G. Wells or H.P. Lovecraft, but he is also a serious literary figure in his own right. His preoccupation with the supernatural takes an often whimsical slant in his lyrics. The fanciful and macabre subject matter of Roland’s songs and the baroque styled instrumentation he favours are no doubt partly the reason why he has not achieved the popularity of his contemporaries such as Robyn Hitchcock (who called Roland ‘the male Kate Bush’), but his distinctive style has ensured a loyal cult following in Europe if not in England.

Third cinematic outing for the classic Agatha Christie story (the first was in 1945, the second in 1965).
Richard Attenborough and Oliver Reed star in this 1970s adaptation of the classic crime novel 'Ten Little Indians' by Agatha Christie. Ten people from all over the world receive the same mysterious invitation to stay in a luxury hotel in the middle of the Iranian desert. When their host fails to appear, they settle down to dinner - and are all accused of murder by a pre-recorded voice (Orson Welles). As the guests subsequently turn up murdered one by one in the fashion of the nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Indians', the dwindling number of survivors struggle to discover who is responsible for the killings. Will anyone leave the hotel alive?

Del caso si occupa Ulisse Moretti (Max Von Sydow), come 17 anni prima, date le analogie con le morti attribuite ad un serial killer denominato "il nano" e considerato responsabile di almeno tre omicidi. Le morti riprendono, con caratteristiche simili e bizzarre: il killer lascia sul luogo del delitto ritagli di cartone con la forma di un animale ogni volta diverso…
