During spring of 2020, a line-up change occurred. The band recorded and released an EP named “KMPXP” for this milestone. It also announced the new artistic direction for the future of The Kompressor Experiment. This new album, “Ebb & Flow” is recorded during spring of 2021 by Ludovic Volper (Méandre). Darker and more frantic than ever, the 7 tracks present a view of the history of mankind, its uncertain beginnings (Endure The Sky, Riss-Würm), through its exponential development (Epigenesis), its infinite violent cycles (Tooth & Nail, Castle Bravo I and II) to end on a hope for resilience (Liminal Space).

Now almost 15 years into her New York City life, South Korean pianist and composer Jihee Heo has thrived during her deep journey into the city's towering jazz piano legacy. Her studies in Amsterdam and at the Manhattan School of Music blended experimental jazz with classical and bop, but the rich connection she discovered with drummer Joe Farnsworth and bassist Alex Claffy several years ago awakened sounds she's had stored away since she first encountered jazz.

Onyx Brass, described by BBC Music Magazine as "the classiest brass ensemble in Britain", celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2023 with their second release on NMC. Since its establishment the group have been pioneers in advocating the brass quintet as a medium for excellent new chamber music, and have commissioned over 200 new works. This new album, The sun is free to flow with the sea, perfectly epitomises Onyx and their values, as a compendium of new music written specially for the quintet by some of the most renowned composers working today.

TASH SULTANA is a dynamic young artist who has commanded world attention since homemade videos of Tash jamming went viral. A true virtuoso, Tash was soon selling out massive theaters globally and playing at the world s biggest festivals - no mean feat for an artist who just a year before was recording songs on a go pro in a bedroom. Since Tash s grandfather gifted a guitar at the age of three, the self-taught artist quickly developed a unique style that has people lining up to see. The virtuosic playing of over 18 instruments, vocals that shine with a magical quality and the natural gift for melody that Tash possesses needs to be seen to be believed. Tash is selling out theaters and clubs around the world, played major festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, ACL and more, and amassed hundred's of millions of streams globally on her Notion EP. Tash has received 4x Aria award nominations and multiple APRA nominations.

Trained as a well-rounded percussionist in the orchestra, as a jazz musician on the bandstand, and as an artist under the tutelage of great teachers like Joe Morello (Dave Brubeck) and Dave King (The Bad Plus), David Whitman brings a passion and deep respect for the music to the stage wherever and whenever he performs. Praised for his versatility, he possesses a high level of skill across a broad range of percussion styles and ensemble situations.

Under the direction of Wolfgang Hentrich, the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, Germany's youngest top orchestra, presents Dvorák's elegiac String Serenade as well as, among other things, a world premiere recording by Dietrich Zöllner, which, in addition to the orchestra's virtuosity and sense of sound, also reveals the "hidden talents" of its young members - surprises are guaranteed!
