This initial fifteen-issue run that comprises a larger storyline is written by Grant Morrison and is made up of a series of three-issue story arcs with different artists per arc. The first one, "Batman: Reborn", was penciled by Frank Quitely (#1-3). The second arc, "Revenge of the Red Hood", is penciled by Philip Tan (#4-6). The third arc, "Blackest Knight", is penciled by Cameron Stewart (#7-9, 2010).The fourth arc, "Batman vs. Robin", is pencilled by Andy Clarke (#10-12). The fifth and current arc, penciled by Frazer Irving, is titled, "Batman and Robin Must Die!" (#13-15). It marks the start of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne" which DC chose to release as a series of one-shots, and the end of the main storyline. The next arc, to be written by Peter Tomasi and pencilled by Patrick Gleason, will be entitled "Dark Knight, White Knight."
