Sacd 2019

The 1960 famous recording by David Oistrakh and Otto Klemperer with French National Radio Orchestra, known as one of the best recordings of Brahms' violin concerto, is finally on SACD. In addition, to the disc added Beethoven's Triple Concerto with Sir Malcolm Sargent & Philharmonia Orchestra recorded in 1958. For this reprint, have been used a new master that was digitized at 96kHz/24bit from the original master, and mastered to the SACD layer and CD layer separately.

Features the works by Robert Schumann, W.A. Mozart, Sergey Prokofiev, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Sergei Rachmaninov & P.I. Tchaikovsky. This is a Sviatoslav Richter's special collaboration with Wittold Lovitki, Kurt Sanderling, Herbert von Karajan, Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, etc. Features the new mastering from the original analogue master tapes.

One of the 20th century's most important pianists, Wilhelm Kempff found warmth in Beethoven where many others discovered only stress and passion. Toward the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth in 2020, the Beethoven recording by master pianist Wilhelm Kemp, who also celebrate the 125th anniversary of birth in 2020, in Japan have been released these five Beethoven's piano concertos, accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic under Ferdinand Leitner, and these is Kemp's second recording of complete Piano Concertos. The first was a 1953 monaural recording. For this SACD reissue have been used the DSD master made by Emil Berliner Studios in Germany from the original master tapes.

The Dan Nimmer's Trio 2019's release for Japanese Venus Records label. The trio consisting of pianist Dan Nimmer, bassist David Wong, and drummer Pete Van Nostrand perform nine jazz tunes including "On Green Dolphin Street" and Johnny Mandel's "Theme from M.A.S.H. (Suicide is Painless)".

Gene Clarks 1974 masterpiece gets the reappraisal its long overdue. One of the greatest albums ever made. Initially celebrated for its obscurity, No Other is now celebrated for its magnificence. It was in every way a magnum opus: epic, sprawling, poetic, choral, rococo. 45 years on and recently remastered at Abbey Road, 4AD are giving No Other the reappraisal it deserves. As stated on 4AD's website, the original tapes were remastered at Abbey Road Studios, featuring a 5.1 surround mix of the album created for the first time. All the studio tapes were forensically worked on and mixed by the duo of Gene Clark aficionado Sid Griffin and producer John Wood; the extra tracks have not been edited or composited in any way, "allowing for everything to be heard exactly as it went down in the studio and before any overdubbing took place".

The radio recordings between 1939 and 1945 with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Wilhelm Furtwangler are among classical music's most compelling sound documents. Created at the peak of the collaboration between orchestra and conductor, Furtwangler's artist personality is conveyed more vividly than anywhere else. What can be heard is music in which inspiration and the expressive will know no bounds and in which, not least, the existential experience of the Second World War reverberates. For the first time, the Berliner Philharmoniker are releasing a complete edition of these recordings.
