Dr. Sarah Shin is a vibrant performer, educator, and collaborator. She is the Lecturer of Flute at Princeton University, a member of the Richardson Chamber Players, affiliated with Princeton University, and on the faculty at Rutgers University MGSA Community Arts as a flute instructor and chamber music coach. She has given master classes and workshops throughout the nation such as Carnegie Mellon University, Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, University of Virginia Flute Forum, to name a few. Sarah is a William S. Haynes Artist and performs on a handmade custom Haynes 14k white gold flute.
A founding member of the popular 1960s female soul group Patti LaBelle & the Blue Belles, Sarah Dash continued to pursue a variety of outlets for her creative talents. In addition to recording four impressive solo albums, Dash has sung on albums by the Marshall Tucker Band, Laura Nyro, and the Rolling Stones. In addition to recording with Keith Richards' X-Pensive Winos, she twice toured the United States with the all-star band. Dash has recorded duets with Richards, Doctor York, Patti LaBelle, and Ray, Goodman & Brown.
Sarah Dash (born August 18, 1945) is a singer and actress. Her first notable appearance on the music scene was as a member of Patti LaBelle & the Bluebelles. Dash has had a full career, moving from singer, to songwriter, session musician, sideman for famous bands that include LaBelle, The Rolling Stones, and Keith Richards.
