Wicked, in theaters November 22, 2024, is the first chapter of a two-part immersive, cultural celebration. Wicked Part Two is scheduled to arrive in theaters next year, on November 21, 2025.

This past April, composer Benjamin Wallfisch scored the new action thriller, Twisters. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film’s music was recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios, and Universal Pictures has graciously provided us with a selection of photos from the sessions to share with our readers! The score for Twisters features a large ensemble of the Hollywood Studio Symphony, conducted by Arturo Rodriguez and Benjamin Wallfisch.

Joined by longtime collaborators Attacca Quartet, Sō Percussion and Roomful of Teeth, Shaw delivers an original score of twenty-eight lively blasts analogous to da Vinci’s artistry and visionary ideas.

The band's self-titled studio album delivers material familiar in style to ELP with long progressive rock tracks, mellow ballads, and a classical theme ('Mars, the Bringer of War' by Gustav Holst, a piece previously performed by Lake during his tenure in King Crimson). All recordings have been re-mastered by renowned engineer Andy Pearce. This collection has been curated with the blessing of the Emerson, Lake and Powell families. It is part of the Star Wars franchise, set at the end of the High Republic era before the events of the Skywalker Saga, and follows a Jedi investigation into a series of crimes.Michael Abels was hired to compose the score for the series by February 2024. Victoria Monét wrote the end-credits song "Power of Two" with Abels and producer D'Mile. It was released as a single on June 14.

The sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), it is the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise and the tenth film overall.John Paesano, who had previously collaborated with Ball on the Maze Runner film trilogy (2014–2018), composed the film score for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Paesano incorporated Jerry Goldsmith's original themes from the 1968 film within the score, describing it as "the musical legacy". The soundtrack was released by Hollywood Records on May 10, 2024.
