Dan Deacon is am award winning composer, recording artist, and performer. Deacon's work in film and television scoring includes projects for major studios and outlets including Netflix, Disney, AppleTV, PBS, ESPN, and HBO. Deacon's score for Jessica Kingdon's Oscar-nominated documentary Ascension won the Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Score award at the 2022 Cinema Eye Honors. His albums Spiderman of the Rings and Bromst were named Best New Music by Pitchfork.

The soundtrack for the film Mufasa: The Lion King includes original songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, with additional music and performances by Lebo M. Among the performers are Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, Aaron Pierre, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. The album will be released on December 13, 2024, in two versions: a standard edition featuring songs and a deluxe edition that also includes the original score composed by Dave Metzger.

Academy and Emmy-winning composer Rachel Portman has teamed up with Emmy-nominated Jon Ehrlich on the new Hulu miniseries We Were the Lucky Ones, a World War II drama based on true events. A highly ambitious feature film animated adaptation of the legendary comic magazine HEAVY METAL required a musical underscore worthy of launching the entire enterprise into the stratosphere and the late, great Elmer Bernstein proved more than up to the challenge, delivering a rousing orchestral score that expertly drives the movie’s varied scenarios, moods and characters to wonderous heights. In total, the score remains a signature effort from one of the most uniquely American composers ever to come out of Hollywood. Produced by Neil S. Bulk and mastered by Doug Schwartz, this deluxe remastered release features the Score Presentation on Disc One, sourced from the composer’s own ¼” stereo tapes, while Disc Two unleashes the Original 1981 Score Album, which offers a different mix, and is also making its world premiere CD debut here, sourced from the original album masters.
