Andy Williams is the American singer whose voice was described by Ronald Reagan as "a national treasure". His gold and platinum albums testify to his enduring appeal among a public who love a bit of crooning.His career began as one of a quartet, The Williams Brothers, and they were successful enough to appear with Bing Crosby on the single "Swinging on a Star". By 1952 his brothers left the act and Williams was solo. His early releases failed to perform well but he finally hit the top spot of the charts with "Butterfly". This unleashed a series of chart successes for him.

The spiritual element of guitar virtuoso Steve Vai's music has always been rather like the music itself: flamboyant, but heartfelt; sincere, but not always a cinch to understand. Nowhere is that more evident than on The 7th Song, a sort of greatest-hits collection with a most peculiar concept behind it. Vai, who's always reserved track number 7 on every album for a guitar ballad, puts them all together on one collection, from "Call It Sleep" off Flex-Able to "Touching Tongues" off of Sex and Religion. The 7th Song features three bonus tracks, including "Boston Rain Melody," that came into being during a sound check at the Mothership in Boston. That Steve Vai, what will he think of next?

These are two of Donovan's best albums of the 70s. I consider them both better than either Cosmic Wheels or Essence to Essence. Maybe not as great as Open Road, but the styles are so different its hard to compare. 7-Tease is full of high energy songs as well as a couple of slower ballads…

Sonic Boom is the 19th studio album and the first in 11 years from rock band Kiss, released on October 6, 2009. The cover artwork was created by artist Michael Doret who has worked with Kiss previously to create the cover of their 1976 album Rock and Roll Over. Wal-Mart is the exclusive distributor of the album in the US and Canada, selling it as a three disc package including the new album, the album Kiss Klassics (a completely re-recorded greatest hits album already and exclusively released in Japan as Jigoku-Retsuden), and six song live DVD recorded April 5, 2009 in Buenos Aires, Argentina as part of the South American leg of the Kiss Alive/35 World Tour. The album was sold as a digipak including a 20 page booklet.
