'Stupendous brilliance, breathless virtuosity. Anne-Sophie Mutter's Virtuosi thrilled at the Vienna Musikverein' (Die Presse). In June 2023, star violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter gave an impressive concert in Vienna with her Virtuosi ensemble. Based on this, a varied album has now been created, with music by Antonio Vivaldi, J. S. Bach, Joseph Bologne, André Previn and John Williams. 'Growing up, I'm on the trail of storytellers,' Mutter says of her work with the Virtuosi, a rotating ensemble of current and former Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation scholarship holders.

A puzzling paradox: although Vivaldi devoted over 30 years to composing for the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice, no complete musical setting of any liturgy by him has come down to us.

Incomparable virtuoso, called the Paganini of the harp, Felix Godefroid was also a composer and a teacher. This recording, performed by Sophie Hallynck, highlights the composer's studies in high virtuosity.

Longtemps méconnue et jouant dans les bars, La Grande Sophie ne se fait connaître que tardivement. Anne-Sophie Versnaeyen est une compositrice française, elle vit et travaille à Paris
Elle commence la musique par la pratique de l'alto à l'age de 6 ans dans la classe de Michel Perrin.
Elle poursuit ses études au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris dans la Formation Supérieure des Métiers du Son où elle étudiera l'écriture avec Isabelle Duha, l'orchestration avec Marie-Jeanne Serero, l'histoire de la musique avec Florence Badol-Bertrand mais aussi le mixage avec Pascal Benard, l'enregistrement et la direction artistique.
Elle débute sa carrière en orchestrant des musiques de films pour différents compositeurs :
Alexandre Desplat (Marius, Tales of Tales, De Rouille et d'Os), Jerôme Rebotier (Un illustre Inconnu, Sahara), Philippe Rombi (La nouvelle guerre des boutons)

In this latest release, Dervaux masterfully continues her journey through Vivaldi's enchanting works, showcasing her exceptional talent and artistry.

“We have wanted to record Bach’s violin concertos with Sophie Gent ever since she joined Ensemble Masques in 2003”, says Olivier Fortin, harpsichordist and founder of the ensemble that explores Baroque music with such passion.

Throughout the '90s, the U.K. music scene was filled to the brim with nerdy cockney types sporting messy threads and even messier hair. Fresh-faced Sophie Ellis-Bextor was among the first Brit-pop stars to break with this trend. She made it onto the stage in 1997 as the teenage vocalist behind new wave outfit theaudience. Smartly dressed (often in black) and boasting an alluring, posh voice, she caused quite a stir on London's alternative circuit. Theaudience became known the world over as a groundbreaking pop act and even enjoyed success on the crowded U.K. singles chart with such imaginatively titled numbers as "I've Got the Wherewithal." Due to internal conflicts, however, the group split up and Ellis-Bextor went searching for success on her own.
