Nick Drake’s debut album Five Leaves Left will be issued as a four-disc box set called The Making Of Five Leaves Left, in July. The album was released by Island Records in 1969 and was produced by Joe Boyd. The new box sets comes in 4CD and 4LP vinyl variants (identical tracklistings) and include unaccompanied demos, studio outtakes and previously unheard songs. There’s over 30 previously unheard outtakes, in total. The whole set has been mastered by John Wood.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of The Waterboys’ ‘Fisherman’s Blues’, Mike Scott has trawled the vaults to create the ultimate companion to this seminal album. ‘Fisherman’s Box’ comprises the complete Fisherman’s Blues sessions 23rd January 1986 to 2nd June 1988, across 6 CD’s. The edition will contain the 6 CDs of the sessions and a 64page 5x5 booklet containing the introduction and annotation with rare and unseen photographs.

Despite critical acclaim as a performer, the rootsy singer/songwriter T Bone Burnett earned his greatest renown as a producer, helming recording sessions for acts ranging from Roy Orbison and Elvis Costello to Counting Crows and Sam Phillips.
