The compilation features a whopping 32 tracks and includes a fully annotated booklet with track-by-track details, as well as label scans and songwriter information. 1967 was undoubtedly the high-water mark of the era, but the psychedelic genre's influence lingered for some while afterwards. Ear Candy qualifies as a genuine oddity in Reddy’s catalog, a record that finds the queen of Australian soft rock paired with the king of L.A. sleaze, Kim Fowley, and his henchman Earle Mankey, a pair who were just coming off of the teenage kicks of the Runaways.
