Live at the Paramount is a live video by the grunge band Nirvana released in 2011. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc as part of the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's Nevermind album. It showcases a live performance at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle from October 31, 1991. The footage is taken from the only Nirvana show ever to be shot on 16 mm film….

The Black Keys will release a special tenth anniversary edition of their landmark seventh studio album El Camino via Nonesuch Records on November 5, 2021. El Camino (10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) will be available in several formats including a Super Deluxe edition of five vinyl LPs or four CDs, featuring a remastered version of the original album, a previously unreleased Live in Portland, ME concert recording, a BBC Radio 1 Zane Lowe session from 2012 and a 2011 Electro-Vox session.

..Overall, this is a killer music presentation. Encoded at 96kHz / 24-bits, this is actually the best quality Nirvana recording I've ever heard. Who knew grunge could go Audiophile? It's a delight, through and through. Vocals (and Krist Novoselic's corny jokes between songs) are super clear, the guitars own the mids and highs, and the bass guitar and drums hit hard and hit low. It's a little hard to compare this to a traditional surround mix; there's no really panning per se, but cheering crowds make your living room sound like you're in the middle of the venue. Do yourself a big favor, turn this one up loud and enjoy (but beware the occasional intentional and accidental feedback)…

This is a "The Singles 1956-1979: Vol.1 - Vol.10" chronicling the musical career of James Brown. Brown joined the Flames in 1953, first as a drummer, and then as leading front man. Later becoming The Famous Flames, they signed with Federal Records in 1956 and recorded their first hit single, "Please, Please, Please", which sold over a million copies. Brown charted at least 96 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and at least 110 entries on the R&B chart.

Like his previous Virgin Classics release (a program dedicated to Georges Bizet), Paavo Järvi devotes his new CD entirely to music by one French composer: Gabriel Fauré. …The jostling arrangements sound intuitive, though the darting solos miraculously avoid collision. Such an overload can be gloriously exhausting. Dynamic pauses recur, always providing adequate breathers between each sprinting outbreak. During the making of this review, I took a break where an old side one might have ended, so overwhelming are this disc's riches. bbc.co.uk
