his budget priced 4 CD box-set of U. Shrinivas, is poorly packaged with no info, no linear notes, No photos, nothing and they didn't even included when these albums were recorded. With some research on these albums, I finally able to find the recording dates. With all these negative points, I still consider this box set is simply a jewel because it covers his early prodigious career from 1988 to 1994 with some extraordinarily performing skills collaborating with highly skilled musicians like Vikku Vinaykaram, A. Kanyakumari, Vellore Ramabhadran, K. Kamalakar Rao etc. Not to be Missed. Including Early Year Albums Deva Deva (1989), Prodigy (1994), Nadasudharasa (1988), Trio Mandolin - Thyagaraja's Pancharathna Krithis (1992).
