What's most striking at the outset of Phish's Coral Sky DVD is how much the band's presentation here, in November 1996, is so remarkably similar to the sound and vision of the Vermont-based jamband since its reunion in 2009. From the sight of drummer Jon Fishman in his trademark dress on stage, to the near telepathic tradeoffs during improvisational segments, this might well be a recent performance.

Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the AMC original series Halt and Catch Fire. The album features a selection of songs from the show, including the main title theme by Trentemøller, as well as tracks by Violent Femmes, The Clash, Peter Gabriel, Pixies, David Bowie, talking heads, Ex Hex & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 18, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the show’s original score by Paul Haslinger. Halt and Catch Fire is created by Chris Cantwell & Chris Rogers and stars Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis, Toby Huss, Kerry Bishé, and David Wilson Barnes. The show’s fourth and final season will premiere on August 19 on AMC.

14 Video Paintings is comprised of two separate works ("Mistaken Memories of Mediaeval Manhattan" and "Thursday Afternoon") created in the early ‘80s by Brian Eno for art gallery exhibition only. Available for the first time on DVD, viewers are presented with a series of slowly evolving "video paintings," with "Thursday Afternoon" focusing on the human figure and "Mistaken Memories" on the Manhattan skyline. The music for "Thursday Afternoon" is a different version than what appears on Eno’s album of the same name, while the music that accompanies "Mistaken Memories" comes from two of his acclaimed ambient albums (On Land and Music For Airports) and features an unreleased track.

Third album from Liverpool born singer-songwriter Alex Highton. As a kid his time was split between his native Liverpool and Florence, Italy, after his parents' divorce. Liverpool has a musical heritage that is impossible to escape but it was during the summers, whilst devouring his Dad's amazingly eclectic record collection , that his musical education began, taking in everything from Talking Heads & Penguin Café Orchestra to David Ackles & Bowie. He lost his twenties to bad decisions and then struggling through some kind of breakdown, he started to take songwriting seriously.

Caroline International have announced the reissue of Iggy Pop’s long-lost classic Zombie Birdhouse, which is due to be issued on 28 June 2019. A heady concoction of drones, Afrobeats and freeform lyrics, the album was Iggy’s 6th solo studio album and represents him at his freewheeling best. It will be released officially on vinyl and CD for the first time since the original Chris Stein produced release on Animal Records in 1982.
