Rhino will issue expanded editions of The Cars‘ Shake It Up and Heartbeat City next month, with both featuring rare and unreleased bonus material.

The visionary titans who pioneered the U.S. automobile industry and transformed the country; archival footage and interviews with race car drivers and experts re-create the epic journey, from the early days to the glory days, of the car, this drama-documentary showcases the career trajectories of seven iconic and revolutionary figures: Henry Ford, Walter Chrysler, the Dodge Brothers, William Durant, Lee Iacocca and John Delorean.

"Panorama" is the third studio album by American new wave band the Cars, released in 1980. The record marked a change from the upbeat pop rock and hard rock of the group's previous albums, representing a more aggressive and experimental sound. It was not as commercially successful as the Cars' previous or subsequent albums (until 1987's Door to Door). However, it did hit #5 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been certified platinum by the RIAA. As a single off the album, the song "Touch and Go" peaked at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
