The Shame Just Drained or The Shame Just Drained: The Vanda & Young Collection Vol. 1 is a compilation album consisting of studio outtakes, songs from the scrapped 2nd album for United Artist Records, demos and rarities by Australian rock band The Easybeats. The album was first released on October 10, 1977 by Albert Productions. It was later reissued by Repertoire Records and included nine more tracks.

Back In The World of Adventures Swedish progressive rock legends The Flower Kings, and longtime label-partners InsideOutMusic, will begin an extensive reissue campaign in 2022, which will see the entire catalogue of the band reissued on CD & Vinyl in remastered editions, with it being the first time many of the albums have been available on wax. First up are 1995's Back In The World of Adventures & 1996's Retropolis, which both featured the line-up of Roine Stolt, Tomas Bodin, Michael Stolt, Jaime Salazar, Hasse Fr?berg, Ulf Wallander and Hasse Bruniusson. They will be available as Ltd CD Digipak & Gatefold 2LP+CD & LP-booklet, both featuring remastered and partly remixed audio and expanded artwork and photo material from that period. How the Doobie Brothers came to form a "family" is not only a fateful event but also a good story. While getting high on a marijuana joint (or doobie) that was passed from one to the other in a practice room, one of the group apparently uttered the following momentous words: "We are all Doobie brothers." Later, when in possession of all his faculties, the co-founder of the group, Tom Johnston, was thinking along the lines of a Motown sound, with a bass line resembling that of Seals and Crofts, and vocals in the style of Stevie Wonder.

Digitally remastered and expanded three CD 30th Anniversary edition of the 1980 debut album from the Liverpudlian band lead by Julian Cope. This triple disc set is the final word on the album containing all the early singles, B-sides and BBC sessions, Sleeve notes by Julian Cope, Dave Balfe and longtime press officer Mick Houghton give a great insight into the making of the album. With new booklet artwork from longtime collaborator Holly McGrail, this is one of the reissues of the year.

Like the Velvet Underground, their most obvious influence, the chart success of the Jesus and Mary Chain was virtually nonexistent, but their artistic impact was incalculable; quite simply, the Scottish group made the world safe for white noise, orchestrating a sound dense in squalling feedback that served as an inspiration to everyone from My Bloody Valentine to Dinosaur Jr. Though the supporting players drifted in and out of focus, the heart of the Mary Chain remained vocalists and guitarists William and Jim Reid, Scottish-born brothers heavily influenced not only by underground legends like the Velvets and the Stooges but also by the sonic grandeur and pop savvy of Phil Spector and Brian Wilson.
