Time Fades Away

The Forest Seasons is the third studio album by Finnish heavy metal band Wintersun. The band cited Antonio Vivaldi's violin concerto The Four Seasons as an inspiration for the album title. After 5 years - WINTERSUN return with their 3rd studio album entitled The Forest Seasons. It's release is accompanied by a massive crowdfunding campaign the band set up to finance their planned WINTERSUN headquarters. Mixed and mastered by the band themselves, The Forest Seasons invites the audience to embark on a musical journey through a mystical forest with it's 4 colossal tracks and a total running time of 54 minutes + bonus track. This 1970 solo acoustic set at D.C.'s Cellar Door catches Neil Young in a bleak, hollow mood, rudely awoken from the hippie dream his audience still wants to believe. Amidst an accumulation of dark, druggy vibes, Live at the Cellar Door shows Young peeking over the edge of the 60s into the dark chasm of the next decade. “It’s about what happens when you start getting high, and you find out that people you thought you knew, you don’t know anymore, because they don’t get high and you do.”

The unreleased solo acoustic album recorded in 1976, which includes includes solo, acoustic songs recorded in 1976 at the Indigo Ranch Studios in Malibu, California and featuring 2 previously unreleased songs! Although Hitchhiker isn't Neil Young's first abandoned album to be unearthed later, it's certainly his most realized — impressive, given these songs were recorded quickly in a single session in 1976. Armed with only an acoustic guitar and harmonica (and a studio piano for "The Old Country Waltz"), Young left the studio that evening having recorded some of his strongest songs to date; he envisioned the lo-fi recording to be released as is before Reprise, his record label, flat-out objected.

"On the Beach" is the fifth studio album by Neil Young, released in 1974. It was unavailable on compact disc until it was released as a HDCD-encoded remastered version in 2003 as part of his Archives Digital Masterpiece Series. Here is the Hi-Res version of that remaster.

New Adventures In Hi-Fi is the tenth studio album by the American alternative rock band R.E.M. It was their fifth major label release for Warner Bros. Records, released on September 9, 1996, in Europe and Australia and the following day in the United States. New Adventures In Hi-Fi was the last album recorded with founding member Bill Berry - who left the band amicably the following year.

Following the 1973 Time Fades Away tour, Neil Young wrote and recorded an Irish wake of a record called Tonight's the Night and went on the road drunkenly playing its songs to uncomprehending listeners and hostile reviewers. Reprise rejected the record, and Young went right back and made On the Beach, which shares some of the ragged style of its two predecessors. But where Time was embattled and Tonight mournful, On the Beach was savage and, ultimately, triumphant.
