Three years after the success album "BEAT" the long-awaited longplayer Cirklar appears. "Our world is rapidly changing. Digitisating is changing almost all areas of society and our daily life. With this album I wanted to create a counter-pole of tranquillity. At the same time I'm exploring new musical worlds. And it is always the music showing me the way."

The Tingvall Trio is in the last ten years for an unprecedented success story in jazz from Germany. The ensemble has become one of the outstanding German export success in their genre from the boisterous neighborhood band from Hamburg. And by the way, it is to them not only succeeded in several generations to unite behind their musical concept, but to win, especially young audiences for jazz back.

Sweden, Cuba, Hamburg – in their ensemble, pianist Martin Tingvall, bass player Omar Rodriguez Calvo and drummer Jürgen Spiegel blend the melodic elegance of Scandinavian jazz, colourful Latin American accents and the staggering power of rock music. An international trio that has adopted Hamburg as its home!
