In celebration of E.T. s 35th anniversary, La-La Land Records, Universal Music Group, Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment proudly present the restored, remastered re-issue of legendary composer John Williams (JAWS, CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND, JURASSIC PARK) iconic, original motion picture score to the beloved 1982 classic feature film, E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, starring Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore and Dee Wallace, and directed by Steven Spielberg.

Nate Walcott is a composer, arranger, keyboard player, and trumpet player. He is a member of the band Bright Eyes, and has composed the scores for several feature-length films, including the 2014 blockbuster The Fault In Our Stars; Midnight Sun (2018, starring Bella Thorne), Come And Find Me, (2016, starring Aaron Paul and Annabelle Wallis); the Josh Boone written and directed Stuck in Love, (2012, starring Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly); Lovely Still, (2008, starring Ellen Burstyn and Martin Landau), and the short film Wig Shop, (2016, starring Emily Mortimer). He also co-composed (alongside friends Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice) the score for the film Song One (2014), starring Anne Hathaway. Most recently, he has composed the score for the mini-series “The Stand”, an adaptation of the book by Stephen King, which is currently streaming on CBS All Access.

With a total of over 50 full length feature films to his name, Alfred Hitchcock remains one of the most influential and esteemed movie directors in cinema history. During his career, which spanned six decades, he created some of the finest and most critically acclaimed films ever made, for which he received any number of awards, and which are still hailed as classics. Hitchcock was a master too of choosing the right composers to score his celluloid creations, and the music was often as important as any other feature in his completed picture. Working regularly with esteemed music-writers such as Bernard Herrmann, Dimitri Tiomkin, Franz Waxman and Lyn Murray, the movie going public considered his choice in this area as important as that of his leading actors and actresses. This collection brings together five original, full soundtrack albums for Hitchcock films, along with numerous themes for others of his classic creations Totaling nearly five hours of music over four discs, this compilation offers a unique experience by isolating the scores from their original setting, thereby allowing the listener to hear them in unfamiliar surrounds.

Sony Classical is pleased to release the soundtrack to the highly anticipated live-action/ computer animated adventure film Playmobil. The soundtrack includes the score by Grammy award winning composer Heitor Pereira as well as x7 new and exclusive songs including new songs by Grammy winning pop superstar Meghan Trainor and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and actor Adam Lambert. Playmobil is one of the most popular toys amongst children throughout the world and has been one of the most successful toy lines for more than 40 years. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Maria, Gabriel Bateman as Charlie, Jim Gaffigan as Del, Daniel Radcliffe as Rex Dasher, Meghan Trainor as fairy-godmother and Adam Lambert as Emperor Maximus. The film will be released on the 9 August.
