Luxury Trains jumps on board the greatest and most famous private rail cars in history for a ride back in time. It is an incredible tour of the most opulent cars ever to ride the rails: from a magical journey on board the California Zephyr, at one time called the train to the stars, linking Chicago to California, to the famous Ringling car that brought the most famous circus in the world to town. Luxury Trains finally discovers the matching set of cars built to look like the orient express by the same man who designed that famous train: deep dark mahogany walls, and ornate fixtures transport modern day passengers back to the glamour of a time gone by.

From his early days with the Yardbirds, through John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek And The Dominos and on to his solo career he has had consistent critical and commercial success. 'Planes, Trains And Eric' follows Eric Clapton and his band on the Far and Middle Eastern leg of his 2014 World Tour. The film features 13 full length performances from the tour intercut with interviews with Eric Clapton and the band members, rehearsal and soundcheck footage, travel by trains and planes, presentations and 'fly on the wall' filming of all the many aspects of being on the road with Eric Clapton.
