The complete third volume of the Avengers under the "Ultimate Comics" imprint after the relaunch of Marvel's Ultimate Universe following the Ultimatum event, consisting of six issues, all written by Mark Millar, creator of the Ultimates. This time around, the Avengers battle a vampire menace. The first and second volumes also consisted of six issues each. In some classifications, notably that of scans by Minutemen, the original ordinal sequence is followed; thus Volume 1 consists of , Volume 2 consists of and Volume 3, . This single-download set has 4 scans by the Minutemen, 2 by DCP. Great artwork by Steve Dillon, but Mark Millar's writing is showing the strain of too many big events and too many comics all at once--it is rushed and not just playing it safe but borders on gimmickry. Instead of improving with each succeeding volume, Millar is sadly regressing. See for yourself.
