Leading British jazz label Ubuntu Music’s latest upcoming offering is a celebration of the multi-cultural melting pot that is London’s vibrant jazz scene. With a history spanning Greece, the USA, and the UK, saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos and pianist Paul Edis’ upcoming record is a musical reflection of the paths and relationships their lives in music have led them on.

Bassist, composer and arranger Bernardo Larisch has paved his own sublime sound with groovy and deep compositions. His music is hard to categorize yet it can feel familiar to fans of Jaco Pastorius, Frank Zappa or even OST's.

The UK's number one big band drummer/bandleader Pete Cater got started early when captivated by his father's records of Joe Morello, Louie Bellson, Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich in early childhood. Since its London debut in 1995 the Pete Cater Big Band has toured extensively, often featuring amazingly authentic recreations of Buddy Rich's repertoire as well as being the house band for the World's Greatest Drummer concert series. The band has released three highy acclaimed CDs, 'Playing With Fire', 'Upswing' and 'The Right Time' and even appeared on ITV with Ronnie Corbett and Miranda Hart.

The debut album from this all-star UK based Quintet, featuring the UK's finest jazz musicians. Five-Way Split is a new jointly led band which was formed in 2020 and features some of the finest contemporary jazz bebop musicians in the UK. Five-Way Split is fronted by internationally renowned trumpet star Quentin Collins, Greek saxophone phenomenon Vasilis Xenopoulos and the golden touch of pianist Rob Barron. Added to this is virtuosic double bassist Matyas Hofecker and hard-swinging drummer Matt Home.
