The Michael Thompson Band is back with a brand new album, “The Love Goes On”. A new MTB album is, of course, always cause for celebration among AOR fans, but "The Love Goes On" is a particularly exciting entry as it sees the return of original vocalist Moon Calhoun (The Strand, Moon Over Paris, Western Front ft. Scott Gorham of Thin Lizzy) to the fold. Calhoun sang on the band's legendary debut album, "How Long", which is generally regarded as one of the all-time great West Coast AOR albums. Calhoun, Thompson, and bassist Tom Croucier (ex-Life By Night, and yes, brother of Ratt's Juan Croucier) wrote all the songs on the album, delivering another high quality serving of classic AOR that the Michael Thompson Band has come to be known for. Drummer Annas Aliaf rounds out the line-up.
Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of an incredible new trio, Heroes And Monsters. Formed by three rock n' roll lifers and friends, bassist/vocalist Todd Kerns, guitarist Stef Burns, and drummer Will Hunt, the band's self-titled debut album will be released on January 20, 2023. The players' resumes speak for themselves, but rest assured, if you are looking for hard hitting, hooky, in-your-face rock-n-roll, then Heroes And Monsters will be good for what ails you. The band approaches their style with their influences in tow, but also with an understanding and appreciation of the current rock scene. A best of both worlds scenario, if you will.
"Carnival of Sins: Live" is a 2-CD live album by Mötley Crüe released in 2006, featuring the Grand Rapids, Michigan performance from their 2005-2006 Carnival of Sins reunion tour. Carnival of Sins is also available on DVD featuring the album in its entirety. Wal-Mart also released the 2 discs individually as Carnival of Sins vol. 1 and vol. 2. Other than a few vocal and guitar overdubs to fix some wrong notes/vocals from the concert, it is mostly an unoverdubbed live album with the usual edits to make it a two-CD live album.
