Elly Wininger is a 2014 Inductee into the NY Blues all of Fame. A student of David Bromberg when she was in high school, Elly Wininger has been called a "folk-blues legend’" who is "beyond category.” A skilled guitarist with a cornucopia of American styles at her fingertips, Elly has performed at clubs, house concerts and folk festivals. Elly is also a composer and producer. Her guitar and vocal work, as well as her original songs, have been featured in theater productions, films, and video games. When not touring, Elly hosts Catskill Cabaradio on WIOX 91.3FM, and works with people of all ages and abilities to write their own songs.

The long and vibrant tradition of art-song in England has seen many great composers from Finzi to Vaughan Williams, Gurney to Moeran and Warlock and countless more. The small Dunelm Records label released many albums of English song in limited circulation, several of which are now again available on Diversions.

The Living Strings were a studio orchestra founded in 1959 by RCA Victor for a series of easy listening recordings issued on the RCA Camden budget label. There were also related groups called the Living Voices, Living Brass, Living Guitars, Living Marimbas, Living Jazz, Living Trio, Living Percussion, and Living Organ.
