White Lotus

Cristobal Tapia De Veer (Smile, Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, Hunters, The Third Day, National Treasure) and Kim Neundorf provide the original music for the second season of the HBO® Original series The White Lotus.
Season 2 of The White Lotus is created by Mike White and stars F. Murray Abraham, Jennifer Coolidge, Beatrice Grannò, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Jon Gries, Sabrina Impacciatore, Tom Hollander, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Haley Lu Richardson, Simona Tabasco, Will Sharpe and Leo Woodall.

Alba Plano is a wonderful vocalist. Rooted in vintage jazz and soul, she has spent the past two years fronting Forever Amy, a tribute to Amy Winehouse featuring the singer's original band. Working on original material, London-based Alba will release her new EP 'White Lotus' later this summer.

The White Lotus is an American satire comedy television miniseries created, written and directed by Mike White that premiered on HBO on July 11, 2021.Juan Cristobal Tapia de Veer is a Chilean-born Canadian film and television score composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is best known for his music to the British TV series Utopia, for which he won a Royal Television Society award in the best original score category in 2013, and the inventive drama The Third Day, written by Dennis Kelly in collaboration with Felix Barrett of immersive theatre company Punchdrunk International, produced by Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment for HBO/ SKY, in which Jude Law and Naomie Harris give stellar performances.

1981-1998 compiles the output of Dead Can Dance from their seven studio albums, live performances, and sundry collections. Through their many stylistic shifts, it reveals the music of ecstasy, a state of spiritual release that can be as serene as a Gregorian chant and as intense as a Persian dervish. There were Perry's Jim Morrison-meets-Sinatra vocal croons, and there was the uncanny and passionate Gerrard, whose Middle Eastern, Bulgarian, and Gregorian singing styles created a transcultural dialect of the imagination.

In the event it turns out that Pai Mei’s lot aren’t even in the frame this time since what is really exercising Bordeaux’s finest deep funk outfit is ‘the one per cent’ – that tiny self-styled ‘elite’ operating without what Apocalypse Now‘s General Corman might refer to as, “any decent restraint…[and]…totally beyond the pale.”
