Revered for his "Dust My Broom" riff, the biggest slide guitarist in postwar blues was a major link between traditional Delta and modern Chicago blues.

Rolling Stone Magazine released a list of "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in November 2004. It represents an eclectic mix of music spanning the past 50 years, and contains a wide variety of artists sharing the spotlight. The Rolling Stone 500 was compiled by 172 voters comprised of rock artists and well-known rock music experts, who submitted ranked lists of their favorite 50 Rock & Roll/Pop music songs. The songs were then tallied to create the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

The cerrado is a tropical savanna region stretching from the eastern side of the Andes Mountains. It is called a treasure trove of life because of the diverse animal life found there. Among this fauna are wild dogs that are rarely seen. They include the maned wolf, characterized by its long legs and mane, and the bush dog, with its short legs and long body enabling it to attack the underground burrows of armadillos. These wild dogs, which have adapted to the environment of the savanna, are being pushed to extinction by the expansion of farmland and the resulting changes in the environment. On the Edge of Survival traces how these very rarely photographed dogs live.

Stevie Nicks' fourth solo album received more than its share of negative reviews from rock critics, who seemed to mistake her poetic and not always terribly discernible lyrics for pretentiousness.
