Santana is the third studio album by Santana. The band's second self-titled album, it is often referred to as III to distinguish it from the band's 1969 debut album. The album was also known as Man with an Outstretched Hand. It was the third and last album by the Woodstock-era lineup, and it was also considered by many to be the band's peak commercially and musically, as subsequent releases aimed towards more experimental jazz and Latin music.

"Santana" is the eponymous debut album by the latin rock band Santana. Consisting largely of instrumental music, the album was highly anticipated following the band's performance at the Woodstock Festival in 1969. At the time of its recording, Santana was a free-form jam band, but would later change their style to include more conventional songwriting. The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 pop albums chart and featured the hit singles "Jingo" and "Evil Ways". In 2003, Santana was ranked #149 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

The Basement Tapes is an album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan and The Band. It was released on June 26, 1975, by Columbia Records and is Dylan's 16th studio album. The songs featuring Dylan's vocals were recorded in 1967, eight years before the album's release, at Big Pink and other houses in and around Woodstock, New York, where Dylan and The Band lived. Although most of the Dylan songs had appeared on bootleg records, The Basement Tapes marked the songs' first official release.
