January 11th 1967, the original lineup sat at the Sound Techniques Studios in London and, with Joe Boyd as producer, did their first profesional recording session. Two tracks were filmed: a 17 minutes long and a jam titled , a sort of precursor of pieces like and . Later in April 67 underground paper IT (International Times) organised at London's Alexandra Palace a multimedia show called that included musical acts (Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, The Move, Arthur Brown & The Crazy World, Pretty Things, Small Faces and Eric Burdon & The New Animals among others), light shows and "living art" performances. The event was filmed by and released a year later as , a 70 minutes documentary considered as the most relevant document about English Psychedelia and the Swinging London. This DVD contains the two Floyd tracks, collated with images of Whitehead's film and footage filmed at the legendary UFO club. 2005 edition, includes some film extras and a CD with the 2 Pink Floyd tracks. A must for Syd Barrett/early Floyd fans.

Bridging the channel between smooth jazz and hip-bop/acid jazz are Down to the Bone, a band that mixes live horns with grooves and beats and comes up with something classy smooth. Down to the Bone are more about the dance floor than the listening room, but they do spice the mix with some up-front horn charts and often use interesting instrumentation (is that an oboe?) to keep things moving. This album features 10 enticing instrumentals, including 'Staten Island Groove'and 'Brooklyn Heights'. An Internal Bass Records release.

The 13th Floor Elevators were an American rock band from Austin, Texas, which existed from 1965 to 1969. During their career, the band released four LPs and seven 45s for the International Artists record label. This 4x discs set contains all four of the original Elevators albums that were released on the International Artists label from 1966 to 1968, remastered and collected in a clam box with extensive new notes by band expert Paul Drummond. In addition to the stereo versions of the three 'studio' albums, which were remastered and remixed from the original tapes in 2007 by the original producer Walt Andrus, the set also includes a completely new mix of 1968's "Live" album, minimizing the fake applause that was added to the recordings and removing glitches that blighted previous versions.

For the first time on DVD are two concerts from one of Miles' great later quintets, with Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette. Filmed live at Tivoli Koncertsal in Copenhagen on November 4, 1969, and from teatro Sistine in Rome on October 27, 1969. Note: The Copenhagen part of this show is of questionable quality, but remains a valuable document of a classic Miles group. The Rome footage is closer to the quality expected today.
