The Manchester, England-based trio M People scored in 1994 with a series of British Top Ten hits from its debut album Elegant Slumming; both "Moving on Up" and "One Night in Heaven" became U.S. dance club smashes, thanks to an endearing mixture of house and R&B, and Heather Small's startling vocal presence. Fortunately, M People did not suffer the dreaded sophomore slump; the 1995 release Bizarre Fruit continues in much the same vein as its predecessor. Bizarre Fruit is chock-full of funky house grooves, and Small's deep, soulful vocals add just the right touch to the mix, making M People considerably warmer than most contemporary dance acts.

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of their initial issue, Collectors Choice is pleased to present, for the first time ever, the CD debut of Liza Minnelli s entire catalog for A&M Records restored and remastered for this new collection, in 24-bit digital splendor, directly from the original master tapes! Originally released from 1968 through 1972, these four albums represent a unique period in Liza s legacy, a time when she was already past the stage of being an unknown or new artist, but not quite the superstar she would become just as her association with A&M would end, and the avalanche of awards began in earnest (including an Oscar for her starring role in the movie Cabaret, and an Emmy for her TV special Liza With a Z ).

This Digitally Remastered Best reissue from Japan of the Best of A&M Years features all of the wispy French lounge pop singer's best cuts, including "Hello, Hello," "I Think it's Going to Rain Today," "A Man and a Woman (Un Homme et Une Femme)" and the Beatles' covers "Here, There and Everywhere" and "Good Day Sunshine".
