In 2006, Howe Gelb embarked on a journey with a gospel choir with the result the astounding, critically acclaimed album Sno' Angel Like You. This new chapter sees Howe embellish a troop of amenco playing gypsies, including the virtuoso guitarist Raimundo Amador (collaborated with Bjork and BB King) and is mixed by the legendary John Parish (PJ Harvey). Recorded atop a Cordoba roof with his 'Band Of Gypsies' in the AndalucA­a sun, Alegrias, is an exceptional new work from Howe Gelb. Originally only available in Spain, where the record enjoyed considerable success due in part to the wondrous contribution from Flamenco guitar virtuoso Raimundo Amador, Fire is pleased to be releasing the latest jewel in the considerable crown of Howe Gelb's musical delights.

After releasing four albums in the roots rock genre, Don Ray reaches back to his country roots to release his first Americana album. Band Of Gypsies pays respect to Don's late steel guitar playing father and features steel guitarist Tony Paoletta throughout the album. Also performing on the album is Musicians Hall of Fame guitarist, Will McFarlane. The duet “We Should Have Met” features Ms. Shaun Murphy, longtime background vocalist for Bob Seger and former lead singer with Little Feat. This is Don’s second album recorded in the Muscle Shoals area by Grammy award winning engineer Jimmy Nutt at his NuttHouse studio.

Land Of Gypsies, formerly known as Gang Of Souls, is a new L.A. based band featuring an artistic union between vocalist Terry Ilous (XYZ, ex-Great White), together with producer and bassist Fabrizio Grossi (Glenn Hughes, Supersonic Blues Machine, Eric Gales, etc.)…

Now on CD, the second full-length by the band surrounding Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Merryweather (a.k.a. Neil Lillie) contains impressive bluesy improvisations as well as psychedelic effects. Originally issued by Capitol in 1969, participating musicians include Steve Miller, Howard Roberts, Barry Goldberg, Charlie Musselwhite and Bobby Notkoff.

The Award winning Texas Gypsies compose and perform original and classic music influenced by the Vintage Jazzy Swingin cool hep cat sounds of the 20's-30's, along with a taste of it's sister sound, Western Swing, and a mix of Gypsy Jazz magic sprinkled over the top! The band mixes passionate violin, heartfelt vocals, a blazing horn section, rocking swingin guitars, slappin upright bass, virtuoso clarinet, and retro style drumming to harmoniously create their own unique, fun and artistic sound! This new CD's has many new and fresh sounding originals such as the Jump Blues/Rockabilly influence "Retro Deco Baby", the Vintage but almost pop like "Lights Up The Sun" and the Western style tribute to Bob Wills and Django Reinhardt track "DjangoBob"…

Though it received little attention at the time of its Swedish/Netherlands-only release in 1967, the album “Them Belfast Gypsies” has long been established as a stone-cold classic of rabid British garage punk/R&B.

Orchestral works by Daryl Runswick performed by the mighty BBC National Orchestra of Wales with an opening track performed by the internationally renowned vocal ensemble, The King's Singers.
