An American hard rock/heavy metal outfit with a rotating cast of players, the aptly named Lynch Mob is the brainchild of guitar virtuoso – and sole permanent member – George Lynch. Emerging in 1990 with Wicked Sensation, the band spent the bulk of the remaining decade on hiatus, but returned in the early aughts with their muscular blend of hard rock, R&B, and blues intact. These talented Brazilians stormed on the scene in 2020 with the release of their electrifying (no pun intended) debut album “Discharge”, wowing listeners with their modern take on classic bluesy hard rock excecuted with heartfelt, soulful musicianship and absolutely monstrous vocals. A mixture of powerful vocals, mean guitar riffs, and heavy groove with influences from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, the band is leading the charge to put Brazil on the rock ‘n roll map!

Having weathered so much adversity in their short career (starting with the demise of their original label and indefinite shelving of their first EP), the members of Red Bank, NJ's the Parlor Mob must be breathing a collective sigh of relief over the release of their first album, And You Were a Crow, in early 2008. If not, then at the very least it seems that the weight of these worries actually benefited the precocious quintet's songwriting, by lending a little extra weight of resolve and authenticity to their rootsy, retro-fueled but nevertheless contemporary sounding hard rock. This stems from a veritable melting pot of '70s influences, which the Parlor Mob go to great lengths to break down into their various basic ingredients before building them back up into exciting groove rockers like "Dead Wrong" and "Real Hard Headed," as well as beguiling, paired-down acoustic numbers such as "Angry Young Girl" and "Can't Keep No Good Boy Down," so that only a few anal retentive music obsessives might recognize their origins.

The band is known for their high energy, guitar driven, hard rock vibe, while featuring elements of classic rock, blues, and metal, with a propensity for improvisation. Joining revered guitarist and band founder George Lynch (The End Machine, The Banishment, ex-Dokken) for this newest Lynch Mob album are vocalist Gabriel Colón, bassist Jaron Gulino (Tantric, Heavens Edge), and drummer Jimmy Danda (ex-Bulletboys).

Freak Out from Knittelfeld was formed in the late 1960s by Robert Musenbichler on guitar and vocals, Mike Gärtner on bass and occasional saxo­phone, and Karl-Michael "Charly" Dienes on drums. Their live LP was recorded in front of around 1000 people in the auditorium of the Klagenfurt Concert Hall, 24 April 1971. During the two-hour gig, they played mainly well-known cover versions from Santana, Blodwyn Pig, East of Eden, John Mayall, Spirit, Keef Hartley Band, Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, etc. Nine of these eighteen tracks were selected for the LP, which appeared with a circulation of a few hundred copies as "Life".
